FilmTrack, the global leader in contract and rights management for the media and entertainment industry, today unveiled a new integration with EIDR allowing FilmTrack users easy access to EIDR’s unique content identifier system for movie and television assets. With the push of a button, FilmTrack users can now auto-populate an EIDR number into their StarCM Content Manager, which captures all metadata associated with a project, including title, genre, cast, crew and hundreds of related attributes defining the technical and artistic nature of the film.
FilmTrack is currently used by more than 200 companies globally, including many of the most recognizable names in the media and entertainment industry, to manage and monetize their intellectual property. FilmTrack’s cloud-based software platform streamlines the complex intellectual property management process and provides a holistic view into critical data supporting rights, availabilities, contracts, invoicing, licensing, revenue recognition, royalties and workflow management.
FilmTrack will co-host a briefing and reception with EIDR at NAB Booth N4333 at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, and will be hosting demos at its booth.
FilmTrack CEO Jason Kassin said: “We are excited to join the many content owners who already support EIDR’s vital push for metadata standards across our industry. The integration of EIDR information with our StarCM content manager will help ensure that our diverse client base can rely on a single global identification system for all assets.”
“FilmTrack is a pioneer in the use of EIDR for rights management,” said Don Dulchinos, Executive Director of the EIDR organization. “We look forward to working with them and our media and entertainment membership on the integration of EIDR.”
